No specialized technical background is required for admission. The program is designed to build analytics skills from a solid business foundation. Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic data concepts is helpful but not required.
Yes. All four certificate courses can be applied toward MBA concentration requirements if you are admitted to the JL Price MBA program. MBA admission requires a separate application and meeting MBA admissions requirements.
You’ll develop skills in data mining, predictive modeling, business intelligence, consumer analytics, and data visualization — with direct application to marketing, operations, finance, and strategy decisions.
The certificate requires 12 credit hours and typically takes one to two years to complete, depending on how many courses you take per term.
