We are dedicated to effecting change through critical thinking, creative practice, and leadership in art education, art history, design, and studio art. The B.F.A. in Art with a concentration in Digital Media explores the intersection of art, technology, entertainment, and contemporary culture through time-based, interactive, and screen-based practices. Students engage with video, animation, 3D modeling, digital imaging, sound, and interactive media to create immersive and experimental works. The program emphasizes conceptual development, technical proficiency, and critical engagement with digital tools and platforms. It prepares students for careers in digital art, animation, motion graphics, video production, game design, and web design, as well as for graduate study and independent artistic practice.
