Program Overview

With a B.S.S.E. concentration in energy systems, you’ll gain skills that combine the principles of systems engineering (designing and managing complex systems) with a focus on the analysis, design and optimization of energy systems, including power generation, distribution, storage and efficiency across various sectors like buildings, industries and transportation; essentially preparing you to tackle complex energy challenges with a holistic approach to system design and management.

The B.S. in Systems Engineering with an energy engineering concentration consists of 120 credit hours. B.S.S.E. students with a minimum 3.0 GPA can select this optional concentration by the end of their sophomore year.
