Physics and Electrical Engineering, B.S. Dual Degree

Program Overview

Engineering students at UNC Charlotte have the opportunity to earn both an engineering degree and physics degree in four years. These two degrees are awarded at the same time and are called dual degrees. Our dual degree programs are designed to broaden and enhance the education of students in the engineering programs and make them more competitive in the marketplace. Graduates of the dual degree programs in physics and engineering receive a thorough education in physics, in addition to the applied and specialized skills they acquire in the engineering programs.

This program in transitioning to a B.A. in physics and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Total hours to satisfy General Education Requirements may vary as some general education requirements may be double-counted in the major with departmental approval. We encourage you to apply for the program and contact the undergraduate dual degree advisor for questions.
