The M.S. in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner Across the Lifespan offers nurses the opportunity to provide primary care in family practice settings to individuals and families across the lifespan, promote wellness and disease prevention, meet tomorrow’s health care challenges and provide leadership in the delivery of quality health care. With this degree, you will be qualified to sit for exams leading to board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and/or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Exceptional undergraduate students in UNC Charlotte’s Nursing program may apply to the Early Entry Program to begin work toward a Master’s in Nursing graduate degree before completion of the bachelor’s degree.
