Program Overview

UNC Charlotte’s Mechanical Engineering Technology degree with a concentration in electromechanical systems includes courses on mechanisms, energy systems, design, manufacturing and instrumentation. This concentration focuses on electromechanical systems. You’ll learn how to develop, implement and maintain electromechanical systems, apply knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems and elements of automation, and work on projects such as robotics and automation systems. The concentration, emphasizing electromechanical systems, allows access to technical areas that range from automotive design to renewable power systems to advanced manufacturing.
