Program Overview

The Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering program offers specialized research opportunities in the areas of advanced manufacturing and metrology, computational mechanics and materials, motorsports engineering, bioengineering, fluid mechanics and thermal science, dynamics and controls, and battery engineering.

The STEM-designated program is a research intensive path to achieving career goals while offering international students the opportunity to apply for an OPT extension, opening doors to global opportunities.
