Program Overview

The M.S. in Mathematical Finance and Laurea Magistrale (LM) in Banking and Finance dual degree program is designed for analytical thinkers ready to excel in the global financial industry. This unique program, a collaboration between UNC Charlotte and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, combines rigorous coursework in risk management, financial theory and international finance.

You will spend one year in Charlotte and one year in Milan, gaining invaluable international experience and earning two prestigious degrees. Prepare for a dynamic career in finance with a global perspective.

In addition to these courses, students are also required to pass the comprehensive exam through UNC Charlotte as well as complete a thesis through UCSC.

* Part of the requirement for the degree is to take a practical Italian language course to learn essential day-to-day words and phrases.  
** Part of Italian learning is to take a theology course.  This is an appreciation/culture course.
