The Department of Management at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business delivers a dynamic education focused on developing ethical, strategic leaders prepared to excel in diverse organizational settings. Students who apply for this major and are accepted into the Belk College of Business are initially classified as Pre-Business (PBUS) majors. Students must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the Progression Requirements, in order to declare the upper-division major in Management.

The Human Resource Management Concentration focuses on concepts, methods and issues used in effectively managing human resources in contemporary organizations.
MANAGEMENT, ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONCENTRATION
Organizational Management
The Organizational Management Concentration focuses on developing an understanding of the use and influence of communication, ethics and leadership on effective managerial decision-making.

Accreditation

UNC Charlotte was the first university in the Charlotte region to earn accreditation by AACSB International, and has now held that distinction for more than 30 years. UNC Charlotte is also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
