International Management, Minor

Program Overview

The Minor in International Management is designed to provide students who have an interest in global business with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of international management. Topic areas include the international business environment, including economic trends, politics, and cultural variations and norms; managerial issues, including all functions of a typical multinational enterprise such as organization, production, marketing, human resources, political risk assessment, and negotiation; and international finance.

Admission Requirements

Current UNC Charlotte undergraduate students: You must earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and must have junior or senior standing in order to be accepted into the International Management minor program. In addition, International Management minors are required to study abroad. This requirement may be satisfied by participating in an approved Study Abroad Experience (one course with a minimum of 3 credit hours).
