Make Your Mark in Human-Computer Interaction

The Graduate Certificate in Human Computer Interaction can equip you to play a visible role in improving the interaction between people and computers to create a more user-friendly and productive experience. This certificate provides both knowledge and skills in the human-centered design of interfaces for software applications, as well as practical experience with techniques for designing, prototyping, implementing, and evaluating user interfaces.  

The certificate may act as a standalone graduate option for post-baccalaureate and post-master’s students, or may be pursued concurrently with a related graduate degree program at UNC Charlotte.

The Graduate Certificate in Human Computer Interaction provides both knowledge and skills in the human-centered design of interfaces for software applications.  Students are provided with a basic understanding of human-centered design methods, as well as practical experience with techniques for designing, prototyping, implementing, and evaluating user interfaces.
