Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Concentration in Pre-Professional studies allows students to individualize their plan of study with dual majors, minors, graduate school prerequisites, or other coursework. The basis of Exercise Science is to prepare students for a career in the field of health sciences. Practical and lecture teaching methods are used in classroom and laboratory settings.

Exercise Science, Pre-Professional Concentration, B.S. at a Glance

The Exercise Science major prepares students in the principles, theories, and applications of Exercise Science. The major offers preparation for employment as Exercise Science practitioners in business and industry, health care agencies, hospitals, physical fitness centers, sport medicine clinics, sports performance centers, and colleges/universities or any other setting which uses exercise and physical activity to promote healthy active lifestyles and outcomes.
