Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Health and Fitness Concentration features a curriculum that prepares students to apply health and fitness industry standards and evidence-based guidelines to the roles and responsibilities of an exercise science practitioner. This includes pre-activity screening, health and fitness assessment, exercise prescription, and risk management.

Exercise Science, Health and Fitness Concentration, B.S. at a Glance

Exercise Science majors have the option to declare the Health and Fitness Concentration. The curriculum prepares students to apply industry standards and evidence-based guidelines to the roles and responsibilities of an exercise science practitioner, including pre-activity screening, health and fitness assessment, exercise prescription, and risk management. Students are encouraged to sit for the American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist credentialing exam.
