Electrical Engineering, Power and Energy Systems Concentration, B.S.E.E.

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering offers a concentration in power and energy systems, which trains you how to design, analyze and operate systems that generate, transmit and distribute electrical power. Coursework includes topics such as power electronics, control systems theory and the science of photovoltaics. These skills will be applicable to systems including conventional power plants, renewable energy sources and smart grid technologies. Coursework and experience will prepare you for careers in the power industry, working with electric utilities, grid operators and power equipment manufacturers.
