The Graduate Certificate in Crime Analysis teaches students practical skills and theoretical insight into understanding crime patterns. The certificate also provides exposure to the ethical issues surrounding data management and analysis. The certificate includes courses aimed at providing students with a marketable skill set.

To fulfill the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Crime Analysis, students must complete 12 credit hours of coursework. Students may apply credit hours earned in this certificate program toward the M.S. in Criminal Justice program.

Already a 49er? Early Entry Option Available

Exceptional undergraduate students in UNC Charlotte’s Criminal Justice program may apply to the Early Entry Program to begin work toward a Crime Analysis graduate certificate before completion of the bachelor’s degree.
