Computer Engineering, Minor

Program Overview

The computer engineering minor at UNC Charlotte is designed to give you skills in networking and system design, programming languages, and construction of both software and hardware components. You’ll learn from expert faculty on the topics including research techniques, embedded systems, machine learning, robotics and more. The interdisciplinary approach of adding a computer engineering minor to a degree from another discipline facilitates your career opportunities in a variety of fields.

Minor at a Glance

If you're interested in the Computer Engineering minor, you'll need to have a background in mathematics including at least Calculus I and II (MATH 1241 and MATH 1242), and experience with programming (ECGR 2103 or ITSC 1212). You must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all minor courses.
