Computer Engineering, M.S.Cp.E, Early Entry

Program Overview

Exceptional students in select UNC Charlotte bachelor’s programs may apply for Early Entry into the Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering program, even if they have not finished their undergraduate degree. The Master of Science in Computer Engineering is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in current and future computer hardware and software technologies. With deeper understanding and higher skills in embedded systems, computer architecture, networking and more, graduates are prepared to make more of an impact in their chosen field.

Program at a Glance

​In addition to meeting University admission requirements, students must complete at least 75 undergraduate credit hours; maintain a minimum 3.2 overall undergraduate GPA and a minimum 3.2 GPA in the major; receive acceptable scores on the appropriate graduate standardized test; submit an application online at gradadmissions.charlotte.edu/apply with supporting documents; and receive recommendation by the Graduate Program Director and approval by the Graduate School. Students with a 3.5 GPA are eligible to waive the GRE requirement.
