The Media & Technology Studies concentration is designed for students interested in the development and critical analysis of different forms of media and technologies as social, cultural, political and economic forces. Contemporary issues explored may include: technologies in the urban context, privacy and surveillance, media and mobility, data and society, digital identity, digital health & culture, media law, media policy, media ethics, and global media. Throughout these courses, students develop skills in critical engagement with media as well as some experiences of multimodal writing and production.
