The B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology provides you with skills in structures, building materials like steel and reinforced concrete, construction planning and administration, transportation, land use, geotechnical mechanics, surveying, estimating and more.
You will learn to apply state-of-the-art technologies to solve industry challenges involving infrastructure like highways, water resources like runoff and more. The program prepares you for roles in structure design, construction planning, highway design, geotechnical and soil mechanics and more. In the capstone senior design project, you’ll apply theory to practicum in actual engineering challenges.
After graduating from this program, you’ll be equipped to start or expand your career in areas such as energy, hydrology, construction and more.
