Civil Engineering Technology, Applied Energy and Sustainable Systems Concentration, B.S.E.T.

Program Overview

Civil engineering technologists perform technical work and provide supervision in construction of buildings, bridges, roads and residential developments. They may work for state or federal departments of transportation, engineering or architectural firms, or environmental and health agencies. With a concentration in applied energy and sustainable systems, students explore the areas of energy conversion and conservation, optimal use of resources, analysis and optimization of energy processes, as well as the limitation of environmental pollutants and development of sustainable energy systems.
