Civil Engineering, Energy Infrastructure Concentration, B.S.C.E.

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an energy infrastructure concentration is designed to enhance your knowledge and experience at the intersection of the built environment and the distribution of energy. Technical electives include courses such as energy and the environment, thermodynamics, advanced hydraulics and power plant design. After completing the requirements described in this program, you’ll receive a designation on your transcript showing you have completed the concentration in energy infrastructure.

As a graduate from this program, you’ll be equipped to pursue careers in areas such as sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy systems, energy-efficient building design, utility management, and energy policy and planning with industry leaders including Duke Energy, engineering or architectural firms, environmental and health agencies, and more.
