The Charlotte MBA offers one of the best debt-to-income ratios among public universities in the Carolinas, and the investment pays for itself within two years due to salary increases. 

Our alumni saw an employment rate of 93% and an average salary of $104,303 for graduates in 2024. Salary increases have been steady at over $20K since the mid-2000s.

MBA Tuition Assistance

The Belk College of Business offers a limited number of program-based funding opportunities.

  • Those who apply before the Priority Deadline are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships.
  • Those who wish to be considered for graduate assistantships should check the appropriate box in their application indicating their interest and apply before the Priority Deadline.
  • Please note that funding opportunities are highly competitive, so it is uncommon for programs to offer them to students who apply after the Priority Deadline.
    • Priority Deadline for Fall: March 1
    • Priority Deadline for Spring: October 1

University scholarship opportunities may be found in NinerScholars Portal and additional on-campus assistantships and other on-campus work may be found in Hire-A-Niner. The Graduate School also maintains a repository of information on funding.

Application Deadlines

The Charlotte MBA program admits students throughout the year on a rolling basis. Applicants who apply by the priority deadlines are considered for first round funding. As the start of the semester approaches each year, the opportunity for funding diminishes, so APPLY EARLY.

Dual Degrees

Dual degree programs allow you to earn degrees across two academic disciplines. These programs are collaboratively offered across colleges or departments at UNC Charlotte and may include other higher education institutions in the United States or abroad.

Accreditation

UNC Charlotte was the first university in the Charlotte region to earn accreditation by AACSB International, and has now held that distinction for more than 30 years. UNC Charlotte is also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
