Elevate Your Career in Athletic Training

Join UNC Charlotte’s M.S. in Athletic Training program to become a certified athletic trainer. Accredited through 2031-2032 by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, the M.S. in Athletic Training program ensures top-tier education and training. 

UNC Charlotte’s curriculum focuses on evidence-based practice, injury prevention, acute care and therapeutic modalities. The M.S. in Athletic Training prepares students for national certification and licensure as a certified athletic trainer with career opportunities in high schools, colleges/universities, orthopedic and sports medicine clinics, business and industry, professional sports teams, government health agencies, branches of the U.S. military, and research laboratories.

Already a 49er? Early Entry Option Available

Exceptional undergraduate students in UNC Charlotte’s Athletic Training program may apply to the Early Entry Program to begin work toward a Master’s in Athletic Training graduate degree before completion of the bachelor’s degree.
