Art, B.A.

Program Overview

At UNC Charlotte’s Department of Art & Art History, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of approaches to materials and concepts of art making, learn about traditions and contemporary cultures throughout the world, and engage in professional activities on campus and in the community to further develop their path for success.

The Bachelor of Arts in Art is recommended for those interested in a double major or for those intending to pursue a career in a discipline other than art. It is not intended for students interested in an in-depth study in a single studio area. Supplement your arts education with an additional major or minor, while still exploring your passion and commitment to the arts.
