Enhance your degree in Africana Studies at UNC Charlotte by completing a Concentration in Health and Environment as part of the B.A. degree. Students will focus on cultural, social, ethical, psychological, historical, and policy dimensions of the pertinent health and environmental issues in the global African World.

Africana Studies, Health and Environment Concentration, B.A. at a Glance

A degree in Africana Studies requires credit hours from general education courses, required major courses, and elective courses. Students may also take advantage of the opportunity to study abroad or complete a major research project or an internship in their junior or senior year.
