Program Overview

Unlock the potential of every student with the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Literacy Instruction and Intervention (ALII), a transformative educational program tailor-made for K-12 teachers. The ALII certificate prepares graduates to use data to develop reading and writing instruction for all students, but especially for striving readers and English Language Learners. Students can enroll and begin in the Spring or Fall. The program:

  • Prepares students to use data to inform reading and writing instruction
  • Create interventions for striving readers and English Language Learners
  • Allows students to move on to the M.Ed. in Reading if they choose to continue

Resident: $288.82 per credit hour

Outside of NC Non-Resident: $536.98 per credit hour

Non Resident: $1,098.21 per credit hour
